When Oraimo announced a collaboration with Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, the internet had a lot to say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some were skeptical \u2014 was this just a rebrand of existing hardware? Others were genuinely curious whether the African Giant’s touch on the audio tuning would make a real difference. After spending serious time with the Limited Edition Oraimo SpacePods we acquired from Samuel Ralak<\/a>, the answer is nuanced, interesting, and worth your Yvi-experince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is our full Nnalolile review on Oraimo SpacePods.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Burna Boy’s SpacePods are a special-edition pair of true wireless earbuds born from a partnership between Oraimo and Grammy-winning Afrobeats artist Burna Boy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The earbuds are available in two variants: <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Moonlight Edition is more of a collector’s item than a consumer product, so this review will focus on the standard SpacePods that most people will actually buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Opening the SpacePods box is a clean, no-nonsense experience. They are comfortable in the ear and do not cause fatigue even during extended listening sessions. If you prefer a flat, reference-level sound, or you mostly listen to acoustic, classical, or highly detailed genres, the heavy bass tuning may feel excessive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The good news is that you can adjust the sound using the Oraimo Sound app, which includes an equalizer with presets and the option to build your own sound profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One thing to note is that at high volumes, there is some sound bleed \u2014 meaning people sitting close to you may be able to hear what you are listening to. This is a common issue among earbuds in this price range and is not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For phone calls, the SpacePods are equipped with four microphones, <\/strong>which is notably above average for earbuds in this category. Voice clarity during calls is good, even in noisy environments like a busy street or a crowded matatu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC<\/strong>) works and is noticeable \u2014 it creates a more immersive listening experience by reducing ambient noise.
